· 26 /1 /08 to 2/2/08— Kilarney Classic Nationals : PG comp great fun only a couple of hours drive from here. I am open to do retrieves and supply camping gear for this comp. Kilarney is a great place to fly and a fun comp.

· 9/3/08 to 15/3/08. Dalby Big Air– Dalby is located 2 hrs in land from the Canungra and is a great flatlands site. The local guys are always flying 100km plus. It is a HG towing comp. I can organize retrieves and travel and accommodation.

· 10/08. Canungra Classic & Canungra Cup. Dates are to be announced but both competitions are held around October each year I will Be able to provide accommodation and retrieves where required and a tour of the sites for the first timers.

THE TOUR OF A LIFE TIME.

 

· OCTOBER 6th to 19th $1200

· Starts at Canungra camping grounds 6 th of October. Weather dependent we will travel to Manilla, Rainbow Beach, Kilarney & Canungra . We will spend a minimum of three days at each flying site. We will be in contact with the locals at each site and only going there at the best time for flying. You will maximize your flying holiday and have a great time. Camping out under the stars cooking on an open fire Australian style. You will have the adventure of a lifetime. Return to Canungra by 19th of October. The Canungra Classic commences 25th October.

The tour is open to both Hg and Pg pilots. We will be deciding on the exact direction of travel on the day. Godfrey wants us down at Manilla early so we will be trying to get down there first. The main reason I don’t want to set an exact path is because I want to stay in front of the storms / instability we get at that time of year if it’s poor conditions at one site we go to the other and stay ahead like that. The total distance is 585km so heaps of room to avoid the bad stuff. I have attached the path in google earth. I have got 4 seats left and am throwing in free glider hire if I have a suitable glider available, first in best dressed scenario. I have two ways and phones available but pilots are required to bring there own instruments, harness and helmet. I will be cooking dinner most nights and can cater for vegetarians as well as carnivores we’ll be throwing heaps of shrimps on the barbie.

· 2/2/08— Canungra Record Challenge starts at Canungra and runs through till 29th April choose your weather and fly your best. Retrieves and accommodation are available contact me at raefon72@msn.com. This year there will be pre declared tasks to save on paper work but if you want to set your own you can do that to.

· 23/2/08 to 1/3/08. I will be arriving a few days early maximum 5. If you would like a ride down or require camping gear etc let me know or you can book the tour and make the most of the trip. Mt Boorah can be a little bit tricky and should be approached with caution heaps of fun and drinking as it gets hot and you always get epic flights.
